Our environmental and sustainability policy is a document that guides us in every aspect of our daily work and is an important part of our company vision. We operate in a world facing significant environmental challenges, and therefore we want to contribute to creating a more sustainable future through responsible production, energy efficiency, and long-term planning.

By taking responsibility for our environmental impact, we aim to be part of the solution. We integrate environmental considerations into all parts of our operations systematically to reduce our carbon footprint. Our environmental work is based on long-term solutions and continuous improvements.

Our Environmental and Sustainability Policy

Our vision is to be the world’s best manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders through sustainable production.

We want a society where we live in balance with our assets and where the energy is renewable. We proudly take responsibility for our hydraulic cylinders and ensure quality in several stages throughout the entire manufacturing process.

We must work to constantly improve our environmental performance and prevent pollution in order to achieve an environmentally sustainable operation. We must protect our local environment, follow laws and regulations and cooperate with authorities and organisations. Through the decisions we make and the actions we perform, the environment is taken into account.

Our environmental impact takes place, among other things, through our energy use, transport and waste management. We must set an example in environmental work by reducing the negative environmental impact of our operations and keeping it as low as possible.

When given the opportunity, we must take the chance to influence customers and stakeholders to think about the environment, and encourage them to reduce their own environmental impact.

We must plan and coordinate our business trips, and if possible choose to travel by electric car or public transport.

Environmental work must be openly communicated with our customers and other stakeholders.

Our staff must be involved in environmental work through their daily work.

Our environmental and sustainability work is communicated both internally and externally where everyone contributes to achieving our environmental and sustainability goals.

4 Priority Areas in Our Environmental and Sustainability Efforts:

1. Energy: reduce energy use in production and other activities through water reuse, automation, low-energy lighting, etc.
2. Waste: Protect the environment by preventing the generation of waste on our premises and ensuring that the waste generated is sorted and recycled.
3. Transport and logistics: Prioritize CO₂-efficient means of transport such as public transport, trains and fossil-free alternatives. Overall, reduce transport’s CO₂ emissions and other environmental effects. Invest in certain processes to reduce transport.
4. Product design: Overall improve the sustainability aspects of our products, for example, improve environmental design, extend product life cycle, improve product environmental performance and ensure a high degree of circularity.
